DG Competition raises funds for underprivileged children of Brussels

On 17 September the assistants network of DG Competition (European Commission) will be organising a fundraiser with the theme “Strictly come dancing.” This being the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, they have decided that proceeds of the evening should go towards projects which support underprivileged children in our city. Serve the City has been asked to administer the funding and organise fun, educational projects. We will work with partner associations and groupings and funding will be targeted towards the children living in the Marolles, children of asylum seekers and children of victims of abuse. We are very grateful to DG Competition for this worthwhile initiative and their generosity.
